The rumours are true! Tame Impala has announced a national tour kicking off mid-April. Speculations arose last week when they tweeted a video of a fan-shot clip from one of their live shows, captioned with a couple of Aussie flags and a link to a site announcing ‘something’ was coming. Subtlety clearly isn’t a strong suit, but we love them for it.
What’s even more exciting than a tour announcement? The psychedelic rock band also announced that they will be donating $300,000 to bushfire relief charities, joining an impressive list of Aussie music legends who have also pledged donations.
Tame Impala will be debuting their fourth album The Slow Rush, which is due for release on the 14th of February. So far we’ve seen some great singles like ‘Borderline’ and ‘Lost in Yesterday.’ You can find all the delicious details below, as well as some handy accommodation options.
