2018 was a sold-out success, and 2019 is guaranteed to top it, if that’s even possible. The line-up for Harbourlife has just dropped, and it is set to kick off Sydney’s summer in style. Drumroll please … featuring Duke Dumont, Solardo, Weiss, Cristoph, Sam Divine, Cassian and Human Movement – the 16th of November is one date not to miss. Situated at Mrs Macquaries Point, the festival will provide endless chilled vibes while being surrounded by some of the city’s best harbour views.
Having impressed Aussie festivalgoers over the last few years, British musician Duke Dermont is back by popular demand for his highly anticipated appearance at Harbourlife. Known for some top techno singles like ‘Need U (100%)’, which was rewarded with success on the music charts including a nomination for the 2014 Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording. Whether you have the moves (or not), or just love to get into the true festival spirit, this is one is for you.
English production duo Mark Richards and James Eliot, more fondly known as Solardo, will also make their well awaited appearance at Harbourlife after being crowned as DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough Act of 2016 and Best Duo of 2017. Having performed at some of the biggest international music hotspots, including Circoloco at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE, EDC, and Glastonbury just to name a few, Solardo are going from strength to strength. Looks like they have no plans of slowing down any time soon so make sure you catch them in their element.
If you’re still not sold on fighting for a first release ticket, we guarantee that Weiss will have you lined up in no time. Another Brit, Weiss’ success as a DJ on the music scene came in 2013 and has just continued to grow with a 2015 nomination for DJ Mag Best of British award. Known for his unique and individual style of “embodying the spirit and simplicity that original House stands for”, Weiss is a must see for all die-hard techno fans.
