Calling all 90s kids and millennial wannabes – the Backstreet Boys are back for a reunion tour next year. The world’s biggest and best-selling boy band are bringing their latest album DNA to Australia for all your greedy little mitts to get hold of.
While this may be the world’s worst kept secret with even the band themselves accidentally leaking the details earlier this month, this is news sure to get you absolutely buzzing through the rest of 2019. You can expect the live act to feature their signature flawless choreography, complex costume changes, trap doors, and giant video screens. Plus with the added charm of perfected harmonisation – Aussie stages will be fired up!
The fabulous five launched in the mid-1990s, in the era of peak RnB flavoured pop, and smashed out banger after banger that still get throwback replays today. Everyone remembers hits like Everybody (Backstreet’s back), As Long as You Love Me and Don’t Go Breaking My Heart. Only true pop royalty can have so many songs stand the test of time like the Backstreet Boys.
Their latest and 9th album DNA peaked at number 5 on the Australian charts and number one in the US. This is the first time the boy band has travelled to Australia since 2015, so you better be quick to grab a ticket before they disappear again.
