After much teasing, your favourite British rock group, Arctic Monkeys, have announced their return down under off the back of their latest album, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino (try and say that five times fast).
The tour will see the ‘Do I Wanna Know’ rockers play arenas across the country, including dates in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
Vocalist Alex Turner made the announcement live on Triple J this morning to the collective squeals of the nation. The last time the boys toured Australia was way back when in 2014, marking half decade between drinks.
Arctic Monkeys’ sixth studio album was a little left of centre compared to their previously lauded album, AM, however was embraced by fans nonetheless. Expect to hear standout track ‘Four Points Out of Five’, along with all your favs when the group touches down in February and March next year.
