Metal fans, it’s time to get back to the pit!
After months of rumours and leaked line-up posters, Download have FINALLY shared the news we’ve been waiting to hear: Download Festival is coming to Australia, complete with a massive line-up filled with international and local acts.
Leading the bill is a throwback to 90s metal, with Korn, Limp Bizkit and supergroup Prophets of Rage headlining the festival.
Taking place at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse next March, there’ll be stack of other international artists joining the line-up including Mastodon, Good Charlotte, Suicidal Tendencies, Gojira, Of Mice & Men and more!
There’s no shortage of local talent, with seasoned metal heads Northlane, Trophey Eyes and King Parrot a small taste of the Aussie metal talent which is on offer. With 28 acts on the line-up and close to a third of them being Australian, there’s plenty of artists for you to feast your ears on!
Tickets are going live at 9am Thursday November 16th, and you definitely don’t want to miss out on this chance to see so many big names across so many stages!
