Groovin the Moo drops huge sideshows for 2018

February 9, 2018

Strap yourself in fellow Mooers, as Groovin the Moo has dropped its first lot of sideshows and there’s heaps of talent for you to see!

The regional festival dropped the lineup for the 2018 edition at the end of Jan, with some massive Aussie and international artists joining the roster. Leading the international acts is UK hard rock act Royal Blood, who is joined by other fellow Brits including Duke Dumont, Lady Leshurr and Public Service Broadcasting. Big movers Portugal. The Man will be joined by other USA folks Aminé and Superduperkyle.

In terms of the Aussie talent, well, where do we begin?! You’ve got Alex Lahey, The Amity Affliction, Baker Boy, Ball Park Music, Confidence Man, Dean Lewis, Ocean Alley, Vera Blue, Paul Kelly, and so many more!

Whilst everyone wants to be part of the Groovin experience, sometimes we’re not all lucky enough to get tix. That is why sideshows are everyone’s best friend! So let’s break down who you’ll be able to see after Groovin this year…

Royal Blood

Heavy weight rockers Royal Blood announced a massive Aussie tour last year, and happen to conveniently place it in the period after Groovin. So we’ll count this as a sideshow!

The UK duo released their acclaimed second album How Did We Get So Dark off the back of their hugely successful debut, and the tour will be in support of their latest LP. With huge singles ‘I Only Lie When I Love You’ and ‘Lights Out’ leading the album, you can’t miss this chance to see one of rock’s hottest live acts in your home town!
